Looking for a Mason and Mason tenders for brick and stone work in Manchester NH.

Pay $20-30 an hour DOE

Mason Responsibilities:

• Mix and prepare cement, bricks, and mortar for structures
• Cut and shape materials until they meet the client's specifications
• Assist in the creation of chimneys, walls, frames, walkways, and other structures
• Interpret technical drawings and follow their instructions
• Do your part to maintain our tools and workspaces
• Lift and carry bricks, concrete blocks, and stones from place to place

Tender Responsibilities

• Supporting the mason: Helping with repairs, construction, and maintenance
• Transporting materials: Moving materials and tools to the job site
• Setting up the construction area: Building, planking, and erecting scaffolds
• Mixing materials: Mixing mortar, concrete, and grout
• Keeping the job site clean: Daily cleaning and removing hazards
• Operating equipment: Using hoists, mixers, saws, and other equipment

Mason Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a mason apprenticeship or previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Physical ability to perform manual labor for most of the day
• Familiarity with commonly-used mason techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
